Remote Field Service Engineer
for a Robotic Iodine I-131 Dispensing System (EasyFill)

International Isotopes Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Field Service Engineer to join our team. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for providing remote/on-site technical support and troubleshooting assistance to our customers. You will work directly with customers to install, maintain, and repair our Iodine-131 Dispensing Robot. This individual will be working remotely the majority of the time and must live near a major airport in order to best serve our customers.

 

Duties:
– Install, maintain, and repair our products at customer sites
– Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment
– Troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues
– Collaborate with customers and colleagues to analyze problems, develop and implement action plans
– Provide training and technical support to customers on the operation of our products
– Communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and management regarding project updates and progress
– Document all service activities, including service reports, equipment logs, and customer interactions

– Ability to travel up to 60% of the time.

 

Experience:
– Previous experience in a similar role or field service position is required
– Strong electro-mechanical knowledge is preferred
– Experience working around radioactive materials is a plus
– Proficiency in troubleshooting logic controllers and robotics is preferred
– Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build positive relationships
– Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
– Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal
– Experience with remote troubleshooting is a plus.

 

Applicants need to be highly motivated and reliable. References are required. Starting salary will be commensurate with education and experience. Education and Education:

  • Associate degree in Engineering or Technology field and three to five years of experience in a Field Service environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Relevant military technical training will also be considered in lieu of degree.
